So, it's time to sum up the results of the completed ink challenge in dreary October(с)
And at the same time in our permanent section "news on Thursdays" to report the latest and most relevant on the current project.
actually, the news looks like this:
- the novel in the novellas finally gets the name "New Mexico, the year 1887"
- it will include two large-scale novellas and several short stories, the total number of works-chapters will be seven. In our opinion, a very beautiful number!
- the novel will be illustrated by our old friend, artist Maria-Valeria Morris, known online for the comic book "Scottish Luck", or Refel Folk in the English version.
- there will be quite a lot of illustrations - for each text, and for large ones and not one at a time.
- the main thing is that the release of the work is scheduled for Yule, that is, the end of December, which means that it's not so long to wait!
Thus, there will be more good news very soon.
Another important and interesting point is that the entire Western project is part of the inner cycle of our "Worlds" called the "Bifurcation Point"
This cycle will unite all the texts about alternative Earth history, because we already have an impressive number of them in our work and plans, no less than the texts of the classic fantasy cycle "Atvan". Well, the more work, the more interesting! And to us, and, we hope, to you too.
All the news for today, and here are the drawings, as promised.
In the gallery below - the best works of the second half of Ink October:
- a friend is a person who will cover your back without questions
- "The one who walks on four legs and sings badly"
- "Excuse me, ladies and gentlemen, for distracting! Let us rob you a little?"
- just a bone amulet, Indian
- as many as three variants of the Brides of the Crow King
- and, of course, the final harvest of the month
